This is a GREAT photograph. You should be seriously proud of this image, it is right up there with one of the best shots you have ever taken. The hint of movement is just right and the focus on the water that acts as a leading line drawing the eye deep into the image is brilliant. Just GREAT photography.

Thanks everyone! I seriously can’t believe the response this photo got, and when I took it on the spur of the moment I couldn’t have imagined it would be anyone’s favorite this week. And now, having seen everyone’s posts, I still can’t. I am honored by your kind words. As for how I took it, I have a waterproof Otter case for my Samsung Galaxy G5 (which is itself theoretically waterproof). As long as I’m not holding it under the stream it’s usually fine.
